I found one, “D” mint mark. The obverse, is almost blank.

Just like the good old days (’50s for me) when early 20th century coins circulated…always a thrill to find something in change. Good for you! Guess there’s hope to keep looking

I was very lucky – almost never use cash – went to McDonald’s in the Richmond VA area – one of the 3 quarters was a AU Lowell w- wow excited – been back to same location twice since then – each time received a AU Park – 1st of 2 quarters released – both had p mint marks – still the 1st find was a thrill – collecting out of circulated coins –

A good question, since final mintages aren’t out. If they are the same as last year my guess is 1 in 185. That compares well with the uncirculated -S mint quarters, which I’ve seen from dealers for under a dollar each, but of course the difference is those can be purchased from the Mint. My guess is the -W prices will stabilize in the $15-20 or so range for AU (lightly circulated) examples. I’m looking too, so far no luck.

I read that 10 million W mint coins will be produced or 2 million per issue. What is the percent W mint as compared to P and D mints for each of the ATB quarters. They seem impossible to find.
