That coin is in a somewhat short-lived holder with the DuPont hologram sticker on the reverse, used from 2014-2015.

That means this example was put into that holder 5+ years ago. It might not have necessarily been graded. It could’ve simply been a reholder.

Regardless of any past grade/holder, the currently assigned grade is solid. CAC and PCGS are different entities. CAC green backs the coin at the grade as being strong for a 65+.

Plastic and stickers aside, the bidders justified the grade with their bids.

The “new” holders from PCGS seem to have coins graded to less stringent standards IMHO. Cleaned now ok for alot of stuff (See Barber 50c, etc.)
