I just got the email from the Mint honoring the former 1st Couple. The timing couldn’t be better with Biden parroting the helm so you can get the set if you file it under a New World Order.

NGC now offering a special label for graded Bush coins at a mere $12 per coin plus shipping and handling and anything else the graders want you to pay for and you must send them your coins in the unopened US Mint box. I think they wanted Blood, Urine and Stool samples too but just send a pair your unwashed underwear should cover all 3 requirements. What would we do without price gouging middlemen and their greedy tactics.

Just checked this still has not sold out – kinda sad when the Big Boys (US Mint) start price gouging and acting like flippers.

Noting the rules about Politics and Religion, this is a Political coin and this is the Bush who started the wars were are still fighting today and over Oil – so this guy is very unpopular and of course “Read My Lips – No New Taxes” I think Liar and Chief was coined from his Presidency then his son carried on the tradition with “Weapons of Mass Destruction” that should sum it up.

At $80 I too, would consider buying the set. Personally, I don’t put much stock in commemorative pieces or medals. If someone likes the appearance of them that’s fine, but for me they aren’t coins and as such holds little value. The only silver in this set is the Presidential medal and I’m certainly not paying the Mint $60 or $70 for that coin. Especially since I’ve purchased roughly 40 Silver coins this year from the mint, included in that total are the Morgans and Peace Dollars.

By the way Kaiser, that third order of the 3 2021 W Unc ASE’s that I placed (in addition to the two enrollment orders for 12 coins) has shipped! I placed that 3rd order about 12:15 PM on 9/9/21. I guess the enrollment coins don’t count against any HHL for the coin. Or is the Mint just so discombobulated as of late that orders like this can slip by? I wonder how many of those coins will be or have been pressed! Now if they’ll just start shipping those Reverse Proofs!

I was about to offer you one of mine as those were in the days when I used to order more than one if it was possible.

UNFORTUNATELY, I was only able to get one. And then, just for fun, I took a look on eBay to see what they are going for. OUCH !!! $1200 or more !!!

Sorry buddy. Do you need a 2021 Peace Dollar? I actually ended up scheduled to get more than one due to the Mint’s “whoops I didn’t realize I had already confirmed one for you” errors.

Just as an Editorial … do you know how many of us ended up ordering more coins that we actually wanted due to the Mint’s screwups? I’ll bet a LOT of our friends on this site could have been more successful ordering IF the Mint hadn’t had such an awful ordering system.
