Espresso is always a treat, Antonio. I take all my varieties of brewed caffeine black to maximize both the flavor and the health promoting essence.

Boy oh boy, Dazed and Coinfused; perhaps just a wee bit less of the “high test”?

Maybe there’s always a chance, but does that haircut have to come with it?

I can’t imagine that a true collector wouldn’t know that any ASE they get now is the bottom of the barrel. For we all know Mike Methhack is the only person that can just happen to walk into the janitors closet thinking it’s a bathroom and discover a cache of coins from several years ago that the mint forgot about. I’m guilty of getting a couple and of acquiring some of the limited advance release coins. Maybe their mindset is the same as mine. Something was better than nothing and maybe in 40 years I can make a mint selling it. Get it.

The only thing I can think is maybe these coins have been returned long ago and due to backlog it just took a long time to process the refund and return to the system. I don’t see a scratch and dent section and the mint rarely ever has sales so buying a known 69 or 68 or worse, for full ask with mint markup seems impossible. I did see the limited edition set added about 500 more. Maybe they will sell out before the 2017 black liberty biberty coin. I still don’t know why that coin hasn’t been melted. I have my suspicions and probably right, but I don’t wanna risk melting a snowflake or a (bites fist)… white guilt sufferer.

I see the good and silver soaring to new heights articles everyday now. Which seems right considering they always go up when mint had nothing to sell and then value of silver plunges the day after the coins sell out. But cost remains high, well over triple melt value. Calling for huge shortages. The Perth mint and royal are setting records and can’t sell fast enough. Meanwhile the US is down to one source and can’t replenish supply. Ethical harvest rules or whatever.

Also did not know unsold commemorative coins were destroyed. Still have no answer as to how a certain grade population is factored. But I still am certain that Mike and maybe 2 or 3 wholesalers monopolize the supply and create the artificial scarcity. Can you imagine if the mint offered to submit your coin for grading at purchase. Of course the collectors would somehow only get 69 coins while, looky what I found Mike get all the 70s with special signatures etc.

I think this year will be a pass on many items. Most likely go to bullion and bars. I may wait and spring for whatever special cache Mike discovers in the trunk of Bidens Vette. Probably 1964 BU JFK coin with gunshot residue on them from the Lee Harvey collection.

I wouldn’t put very good odds on that being likely to happen but we can’t be one hundred percent certain either that something like that could never occur, so…

“Bargain palladium coins” must be an oxymoron like “jumbo shrimp”.

I would like it very much if everyone but me returned their commemorative coins. Then maybe I will have a rare and expensive collection that can be profiled here for everyone to comment on.

You can always invest in bargain palladium coins. Maybe the price will go back up and you’ll have a nice profit.
