the $1 and $2 have no fancy security features at all so they are cheap to make. The rest of the notes have mostly the same fancy security features, but the $100 has a couple extra measures (and thus extra cost) not found on the others. there shouldn’t be any real cost difference between $5, $10, $20 and $50 notes, maybe the different color inks on each of these have slightly different cost or something.
